 Brief description DataStax was built on the open source NoSQL database Apache Cassandra. Cassandra was initially developed internally at Facebook to handle large data sets across multiple servers. It was released as an Apache open source project in 2008 ArangoDB is a native multi-model database system developed by ArangoDB Inc. The database system supports three data models (key/value, documents, graphs) with one database core and a unified query language AQL (ArangoDB Query Language).
